What to Expect
During a Session
Our pop-up classroom is a warm and welcoming space where children explore, create and connect at their own pace, alongside their families. Each session nurtures curiosity, creativity and confidence through play, using open-ended materials and thoughtful invitations to learn.
Welcome Grouping
We start each session with a cheerful hello song to help everyone feel settled and connected. A Welcome to Country grounds us in respect for the land and its Traditional Custodians, and we share the daily routine and theme using a visual schedule to support children’s understanding.
Child-Led Play & Exploration
This is where the fun and learning unfold. Children move freely between learning stations, following their curiosity and imagination.
Activities may include:
• Storytelling and early literacy experiences
• STEM provocations for building and experimenting
• Creative arts and sensory play
• Schema play such as transporting, connecting and enclosing
Each space is carefully prepared to encourage independence, problem-solving and meaningful discovery.
Family Group & Storytime
We end with a calm, connected group time to wind down and reflect together. A story linked to the day’s theme brings everyone together before we say goodbye.
